Follow up with the Preview lesson on Creating a Blog (Previous Post), a two-days hands-on course is arranged as follows:
The two-days course will cover the ins-and-outs of a blog, how to create and customise a blog using themes and layouts using WordPress publishing platform. During the hands-on, you will also learn how to add a title to the blog and suitable image header and use widgets like Search, Categories, Links, Archives, etc.

Pre-requisite: Know how to surf the Internet and actively using email. Having a laptop computer and data plan is an advantage. Bring along to the class if you have one.

Direction: Nearest MRT Station: Tiong Bahru. Exit and turn right. Up escalator and take bus number 5 or 16 or 851 to end (Bukit Merah Bus Interchange). About 5 minutes walk to library. Ask for direction if necessary.

Smartphone Clinic

Once in a while, we do organise a smartphone gathering among the 50+ seniors who believe in Life Long Learning. The objective is for seniors helping seniors in any Apple iPhone or any brand of android smartphone issues.
You can term it as a Smartphone Clinic with an operation hours of just around 3 hours with details as follows:
